The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements focused on financial services regulation, providing strategic counsel, and practical solutions
  • Develop and implement regulatory engagement strategies for clients facing complex compliance challenges
  • Analyze emerging policy developments and assess their potential impact on client operations
  • Prepare high-quality briefings, submissions, and advocacy materials
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in regulatory bodies and government departments
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and thought leadership

The Ideal Candidate

  • Substantial experience (8+ years) in financial services regulation, ideally with exposure to both UK and EU frameworks
  • Background in a regulatory body, government department, leading financial institution, or specialist consultancy
  • Deep understanding of regulatory processes, policy development, and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent analytical skills and political awareness
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Graduate degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Economics, Law, Public Policy)

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Spearhead client programs requiring sophisticated government engagement
  • Craft and execute influence strategies that align client objectives with policy priorities

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven track record (10+ years) in government relations, public affairs, or directly within political institutions
  • Established networks across political parties, civil service, and relevant stakeholder groups

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor legislative, regulatory, and political developments across the United States, Latin America, and Canada
  • Produce clear, concise briefings and reports on policy issues, market trends, and regulatory changes relevant to our clients
  • Support senior consultants with background research, stakeholder mapping, and data analysis
  • Prepare client presentations, advocacy materials, and contribute to knowledge management systems
  • Assist with the organization and follow-up of events, webinars, and client workshops
  • Track emerging risks and opportunities in areas such as trade, investment, ESG, and sector-specific regulation

The Ideal Candidate

  • A graduate with 1–3 years of relevant experience in research, policy analysis, market intelligence, or public affairs
  • Demonstrated interest in US and Latin American politics, economics, or regulatory affairs
  • A quick learner with excellent research, analytical, and writing skills
  • Detail-oriented but able to synthesize and communicate the bigger picture
  • Adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a strong advantage

The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Mexican Tax Expert who can provide high-level strategic advice on Mexico’s tax environment and regulatory frameworks. This position can be structured as either an external advisory engagement or a full-time role, depending on the successful candidate’s profile and availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic tax advisor on Mexican regulatory, fiscal, and compliance matters tied to large-scale foreign investment projects.
  • Structure and implement tax-optimized vehicles and deal flows across sectors such as public infrastructure, energy/oil, and commercial real estate.
  • Provide institutional insight into SAT procedures, audits, rulings, and risk assessment, ensuring compliance with both policy and practice.
  • Engage proactively with public and private stakeholders to interpret and adapt to changing tax reforms.
  • Collaborate closely with internal government affairs, business development, and market entry teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Contribute to market networking, policy development, and investor advisory efforts within the LATAM tax arena.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 8+ years of experience in Mexican tax law, fiscal administration, or corporate tax advisory.
  • Robust professional credentials from SAT, a leading accounting/law firm, or a government regulatory body.
  • In-depth working knowledge of SAT processes, including rulings, compliance structures, and informal engagement mechanisms.
  • Extensive professional network within Mexico’s tax, finance, or public administration communities.
  • Strategic mindset and political acumen with the ability to connect regulatory requirements with institutional realities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in both Spanish and English.
  • Law degree, accounting qualification, or advanced academic credentials in Taxation, Law, or Public Policy.

What We Offer

  • Salary Range: $210,000–$290,000
  • Hourly/project-based rates within this range are possible for consultancy arrangements.
  • Additional benefits, bonuses, or commission structures will be communicated at the time of offer.
